Our Journey to Becoming Parents
Our journey to parenthood began in 2022. We spent a full year researching every option—across the UK, Cyprus, the USA, Canada, Albania, and Argentina—before discovering Colombia. What set it apart wasn’t just the legal clarity or strong medical standards, but the warmth and humanity we felt from the very beginning. It simply felt right. This is our way of paying that kindness forward. We want to support others who are now starting their own surrogacy journey—offering honest guidance, clarity, and reassurance wherever we can. Our path took time, patience, and trust, but it led us to the two most precious people in our lives. And for that, we’re forever grateful.
We took our time choosing the right agency and clinic, wanting complete trust in the team who would guide us. By January 2023, we flew to Colombia to begin the process. A year later, in January 2024, we returned to welcome our son into the world—a moment that changed everything.
After settling into life as new parents, we received incredible news in November 2024: a confirmed pregnancy for our daughter. In July 2025, we travelled back to Colombia—this time with our son—to welcome her into our family. Both births were magical in their own way, and our family finally felt complete.
Looking back, we’re filled with gratitude: for Colombia and its openness, for the remarkable surrogates who carried our children with such care, and for the agency and clinic teams who supported us every step of the way. We’re also deeply thankful for the Intended Parents who helped us early on, sharing their experiences without expecting anything in return.
