Who we are
SOL Surrogacy is a personal website run by two private individuals based in London, UK. We are not a company, agency, or professional service. This site exists to share our personal experience of surrogacy in Colombia with other intended parents.

What data we collect and why
When you contact us through our contact form or WhatsApp, we collect your name and contact details (email address or phone number) and any personal information you choose to share about your surrogacy journey. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. We never share it with any third party.
The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — specifically, responding to direct enquiries made to us.
Please be aware that surrogacy journey information may include health and fertility details, which is special category data under Article 9 of UK GDPR. We ask that you only share what you are comfortable sharing, and we treat anything you tell us with complete discretion.
When you book a meeting via Calendly, your name and email address are collected by Calendly to schedule the appointment. That meeting is then hosted via Google Meet. Please refer to Calendly's and Google's own privacy policies for how they handle your data.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time spent, general location). This data is anonymous and aggregated — we cannot identify individual visitors from it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for Google Analytics as described above. No other tracking or advertising cookies are used.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact enquiry information only for as long as is necessary to respond to you and for a reasonable period thereafter (no longer than 12 months). We do not maintain a mailing list or CRM database.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion of that data, object to our processing, and lodge a complaint with the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly at: [your email address]
